In T.O.P’s latest interview with Prestige, the artist shared that BIGBANG’s comeback will carry his special message to fans and will attempt to explain why he feels detached from the group’s musical identity at the moment. In his own words, “Being super honest with the fans, I really don’t want to say this is my last. But even more frankly, it might be a long while until I come back as T.O.P of BIGBANG". While this revelation itself is heartbreaking, it could mean that confessional rap which highlights emotionally vulnerable and honest lyrics, could be a big part of BIGBANG’s comeback music.
